Why XCSTRIKE Edition?

No fake servers

XCSCLIENT pulls the Internet list from XCSTRIKE, the same checked CS 1.6 listings as the site. Servers need 5 votes this month. Fake names and redirect IPs stay out. Votes reset on the 1st.

XCSCLIENT browser

Dark in-game UI: search, mode / country / player filters, flags, map previews, ping, and a Play button per row. Star a server or type an IP:port on Favorites. It queries live even if it is not on the list yet.

Safer NextClient commands

Built on NextClient (engine 8684). The client does not blindly run harmful commands a server sends. That cuts common slowhack junk in your config.
