How to Use CheatDetector
XCSTRIKE CheatDetector is a free Windows scanner for CS 1.6 and CS2. The player runs it with the game open, and a public report on XCSTRIKE shows Clean, Suspicious or Cheat. It does not touch personal files and it is currently in BETA.
For Players

Get the zip from the CheatDetector page or the Download link in the sidebar. Extract both files into the same folder: CheatDetector.exe and CheatDetector64.exe. Keep the 64 file, CS2 scans need it. You never start it yourself.
Open the game first
Launch CS 1.6 or CS2 and join the server where you were asked to scan. Do not close the game. A scan from the main menu shows "Not connected" and no server info.
Run CheatDetector
Double-click CheatDetector.exe (not the 64 file). Windows asks for Administrator permission, click Yes. A dark window with a START SCAN button appears.
Click START SCAN
The scan takes about 10 to 20 seconds and shows a progress bar. Keep the game and the scanner open until it finishes.
Share the report
You see the result and a VIEW REPORT button. Open it, or use COPY LINK and send it to the server admin. The link looks like xcstrike.com/cheatdetector/report/123.
For Server Admins

Ask the player to download CheatDetector from xcstrike.com/cheatdetector. They unzip it and double-click CheatDetector.exe. Nothing to install.
The player runs the scan
They need CS 1.6 or CS2 running, ideally connected to your server. They click START SCAN, accept the Windows prompt and wait about 15 seconds.
Open the report
The player sends you the VIEW REPORT link. You can also search Scan Reports by player name, SteamID or server IP.
Read the report
The verdict is one of these three:
- Detected Direct evidence of cheats on the PC.
- Warning Suspicious activity that may or may not be a cheat.
- Session time "Session: 30s" means the game was restarted right before the scan. Ask for a new scan while they play.
- Steam / No Steam Whether Steam is active. Not related to cheating, but useful.
Important Notes
Antivirus warnings
Some antivirus tools flag CheatDetector by mistake. Allow CheatDetector.exe and CheatDetector64.exe and keep both files.
Administrator required
Without Administrator rights the scan may be incomplete. Always click Yes on the Windows prompt.
The game must be running
No game means "TARGET NOT FOUND". CS 1.6: Steam, NextClient (engine 8684), GSClient, GoldClient and most modified clients. CS2: the official Steam client.
Privacy
No personal files, browser history or passwords. Only the scan report is sent, and the player IP is partly masked in public.
